Important — please read before submitting

What we will publish: First-hand observations of land, water, road conditions, harvest activity, watershed changes, or wildlife displacement. Direct statements about the impact on you or your community. Citations to public records, FOM submissions, RDCK / Regional District resolutions, news coverage.

What we will not publish: Accusations against named individuals (engineers, contractors, BCTS employees). Allegations of criminal conduct without supporting documentation. Speculation about motive. We will redact names from your submission if needed to publish the substance.

Why: Defamation law in BC holds the publisher liable for what's published, even if the publisher is repeating someone else's words. We protect you, and ourselves, by sticking to facts that are documented or directly witnessed.

Aim for 100–400 words. We may edit lightly for length and clarity, and we will share the edited version with you before publication.
